Hazy orange color, small white head. Nose is ryeish, has some honey and light smokeyness. Medium-bodied. Flavor has strong vanilla, some peatyness and rye. Strange brew.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy pale orange, creamy head. Fruity peaty nose. Sweet with medium body and rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Mild peaty smoke, some whiskey and slight sulphur. There’s sugar and vanilla, a whiff of orange. Different and entertaining, perhaps a bit sweet.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - APR 17, 2010
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Bov. This beer exploded when I opened it. A huge amount of peanut (almost gone-off) in the nose. The taste is also completely dominated by that component. Malt accented. Very unusual. Sweet. Low bitterness. Coconut only manages to sneak in. Thanks a lot Bov!

courtesy of Daniel Kruse - cloudy reddish-orange colour with a little foam left; gently peated and nutty aroma; quite full-bodied and fizzy, sweet with a late tartness; gently smokey and whisky-like finish - another beautiful beer from this surprising microbrewery!
