On tap at Peg’s Cantina. Originally reviewed 8/5/2011. Small white head with little retention. Nice lacing, which is surprising for the style. Raspberry tinted cloudy body. Acidic smell of lemons and oranges with the characteristic tartness of a Berliner Weiss. On point for the style. Behind that is a distinct smell of jelly. Nice tart, light flavor. Raspberry sweetness in the middle. Crisp light finish. Light to medium bodied. A little heavier that I’d like, really. Still brisk and it has nice tingly carbonation. Delicious. Not what I expected, but very nice

On tap at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a light pinkish color with a fizzy white head. The nose carries a good dose of raspberry and a nice bit of lime in the background. Flavor pairs the two fruits quite well and adds in a nice bit of lactic acidity. Everything is nice and in balance. A really well done beer.

On draft at Berliner Bash, poured a light straw pinkish color, aromas oof funky tart fruit, some grain, and some wheat. Flavors are a nice mix of tropical fruits with a touch of raspberry, some light cream, wheat, and light funk, a real great beer overall.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2012 Draft with Linh at Pegs Cantina for the Berliner Bash 2012. Pours a bright pink body with no head. Aroma is lime, funk, and tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is acidic with notes of raspberry-limeade, grain, nice tart fruit and funk.

Tap at Peg’s for Berliner Bash. Missed this one so I got a nice sample from burg326. Thanks Adam! Beautiful pink/peach creamsickle pour. Pink foam. Glowing. Nose is rich rhubarb, raspberry, limeade, tropical medley. Complex. Taste is starchy grain, raw, rustic, big wheat background with strawberry limeade. Creamsickle thickness and fatty yogurt. Great stuff. Better than the Double Rainbow All the Way.

Draft at the source. Pale cloudy pink color. Aroma of armpits and raspberry jam. Taste is sour funky raspberries. Nice.

Hazy pink grapefruit colour. Light acidity on the nose. Lots of acidity on the palate, with a light citrus/berry character. Good balance. A fun fruit beer.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2019 Super old rating. One of the most eye opening beer experiences...the tart, the fruit, the thunderous funk. Not sure how I'd feel about it now, but it was great then.

On draft at Hunahpu Day. Murky pink with a thin white head that lasts. Wow, what a funky strange aroma here. It really does smell like a sugary jelly donut with the addition of some vinous notes and maybe bandaid. This was a great palate cleanser on Hunahpu Day! Slightly sweet and tart, clean, with wheat, dough, strawberry, raspberry, and leafy plant flavors. It’s an odd beer and one I kept thinking I shouldn’t like but in the end I actually did.

Draft at pegs, amazing looking peachy pink lemonade . Lime and funky cheese aroma. Raspberry notes try to establish themselves despite power of cheese. Great tartness, lime driven acidity, raspberry tartness, light cheesy funk in the finish. Flavorful and unique
