Ca3€.

0.33 l bottle from Vrutak, shared with Višnja 666. Murky orange, small off-white head, sediment visible. Yeast, dust, orange, vinegar and apricot aroma. Dry and very yeasty. Medium body, medium carbonation, dry finish. Extremely yeasty beer.

Bottle/fire extinguisher combo. This literally went off like the latter when opening (my kitchen will smell of this for a few weeks). Aroma intense orange and peach with a long - lasting bitter finish. Excellent. Need to find this again to try more than a few sips that didn’t end up on my kitchen floor.

At the MBR Sour Beer tasting, bought it at Pivoteka. Murky apricot body with no head. Perfumey yeasty aroma, creamy, pistaccio, apricot. Ugh, perfumey pistaccio and plastic taste, way too yeasty. Very much dusty and overall messy. Nope, not one of their better beers, not by far!

Feb. ’16. A 0.33 l traditional fat little Belgian bottle. It poured very hazy, shiny orange body with tiny and very short living head killed by the fizzy body. Weird. Lightly sour, vinous, then sweet fruity, but above all, especially pungent pineapple and finally alcoholic aroma. The latter reminded to a good brandy or some fruity liquor. Complex but a bit overwhelming, also with a very intensive urinal off note. No overreacting, especially as it opened up a bit. Weird. Flavor was less intensive, only a bit sweet, although nose indicated the opposite. Mostly bitter with high carbonation emphasized that feeling. Quite yeasty in a totally weird way, I guess that’s morpheus, along with some herbal, spicy...thing. Alcohol was well hidden, except in the nose, as mentioned. Medium in body but with an extremely long finish where bitterness survived the most. Weird :) and a slow-going brew, however with every sip my palate got used to it a bit more, although the nose suffered inverse proportionally. Quite hard to drink, but even harder to rate. Has some qualities for sure, although it really could be described like a bit infected brewpub ale. Did I mention it was totally weird? I guess most of the raters who blamed the bottle/batch just didn’t like it. Nor I am a fan but will remember it for sure. At least I was introduced with this unique yeast cultivate, although they really didn’t have to leave so much of it in the bottle!

0.33l bottle. Obviously something went wrong with this bottle. Dark ,muddy amber color with no head at all. Taste of peach and yeast sediment. Don’t really care about low score since it probably is brewers fault.

BlackHaddock (9509) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2015
33cl bottle in Cafe Red Rose, Brugge: December 2015. Golden pour with a slight hazy look, on top a thin white head with poor retention. Apple and gooseberry aroma with some yeast esters. Taste was fairly sweet, yet also slightly sour, almost tart in character. Medium bodied but extremely fizzy in nature: over carbonated in fact, made it difficult to drink.

Bosbouw (3205) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2015
Troebele bruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zoetig, popcorn, honing, kruiden. Smaakt zoetig, kruiden, caramel. Veel koolzuur.

BlazerT (1489) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - NOV 20, 2015
Once again very big gashing - typical for Alvinne, Sensroic. Bottle. Golden, little hazy with medium, shite head. Poor lacing and head retention. Funky aroma together with some straw and bready aroma. Taste is sweete combined with slightly soury character. Medium body, creamy texture, finish is semi-sweet.
