I love the taste of a bitter beer, to my taste Yarra Valley Gold is the best beer in Australi. Tried micro breweries around Australia, in my opinion you can't beat Grand Ridge Brewery

Cask Half Pint at White Horse, Parsons Green, London in Oct 2010 - Hazy Orangey Brown in colour. Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Fruity; citrus grapefruit and lemon. Malty; sweet malts. Very fruity, mildly sweet with a citrus hop bitterness. Very drinkable. (2010-10)

330ml bottle into glass. Subdued malty nose. Copper coloured beer with solid two finger white head. Lots of tiny bubbles. Slight zing in the mouth, medium body. Initial hoppiness is followed by smoky malts then a light citric finish. Does taste like English ales. Delicious.

Copper pour with a thin white head. Fairly mild aroma, malt and not much else. Taste is malt, toffee, a little grapefruit and slightly bitter finish.

Molasses and malt aroma, super smooth, only letdown by being overwhelmingly too sweet could have got a dud tho because it seemed like heaps of uncarbonated sugar was in mine

Fruity hop aroma. Rich brown golden colour with excellent head. Rich toffee malt up front with sharp bitter hops and a smooth finish. Medium body with medium to high carbonation.

Pours a nice amber/copper colour with a well defined and long-lasting head. The flavour is well-balanced and I would definitely recommend this beer.

mattyhennessy (377) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - MAR 23, 2014
Pours a hazy amber orange with a white head. Sweet malt aromas with toffee and caramel mixed with floral hop flavours. Light bodied with good carbonation. Sweeness of the malt is balanced well with the lingering floral hop finish

Pours amber with a lasting off-white head, pleasant mild hoppy aroma, malt smoothness and flavours. Quite a nice drop, I’m surprised and impressed.
