willisread (6519) - Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 9, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2019 Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown with a finger of beige foam that lingers, then dissipates. Roasted malt, coffee and toasted vanilla bean on the nose. Smooth and creamy with lower than usual acridity on the palate. The vanilla is tasteful and smooths out the edges on this one. Lingering chocolate malt, vanilla and coffee notes.

HippyHop (1187) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 31, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 Nitro pour at the brewery. This looks beautiful at the outset but within five minutes it's borderline flat, which is kind of weird. Nice roasted grain, chocolate, coffee, and very very subtle vanilla. Other than the near flatness this has a nice texture. Sweet up front, dry and roasty on the back end. I feel like the bottle version might be more enjoyable. Update: Definitely prefer the bottled version.
