COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Limited (brewed once). Brewed exclusively for Stockholm Beer bar Akkurat’s 15th anniversary. Brewed in March 2010. 112° Plato. Matured on oak casks for 10 months, 5 of them on Cognac casks. Bottled on December 1st 2010. Pre-released fromkeg at Borefts Beer Festival 2010.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2022 250ml bottle pours out black topped with a brown head. Nose is sweet caramel toffee chocolate cognac booze. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts chocolate ash cognac lots going on.

Intense dark malts, cacao, dark chocolate, toasted bread, cognac, soft carb, full bod. Outstanding, rich, complex, balanced. Bottle shared at Cloin's.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2021 Bottle split at the Grand Reunion Tasting at MM, Big thanks to Dave, 20/05/21. Black with a good sized tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is dark chocolate, spice, dried fruits, vinous, nice barrel layer, umami, roasted tones. Taste comprises chocolate, cognac splash, dried fruits, charr, bitter roast, crystalised brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, balanced rising boost. Solid stuff ... holding up very well.

Aroma is big meaty roast, metal, cakey malts, liquorice, meaty roast. Flavour is composed of umami, meaty roast, bitter roast, big bitter burnt cake, metal,. Paalte is medium bodied, mellow carbonation.. Big, super rich.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2020 Bottle at a tasting, huge thanks to Owen. Darkest brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is awesome, smooth roast, dark chocolate, cognac, honey. Very well balanced flavor. Slightly sweet smooth chocolate and roast, light coffee, cognac, honey sweetness, light bitterness. Medium plus body, quite drinkable although the bottle is tiny so what does it matter?
