An innovative and fresh session ale in the American style, brewed with the modern hop variety Citra. Pale Ale is a shining amber example of Jessica Heidrich’s signature "Love and Hops" - easy to drink and rich with plenty of hop aromas and character. Aroma and taste - Large aroma and citrusy scent from the Citra hops with hints of elderflower, gooseberry and rhubarb reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc wine. Well-balanced and complex taste with distinct citrus floral bitterness. Long, fresh and aromatic bitter finish. Ingredients: Pale ale malt and Citra hops

Bottle. Pours a slight hazy golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is very light and bready, grainy, some grapefruit zest. Flavor is also very light, bitter and citrussy. Pretty boring, one dimensional and really not interesting. Aftertaste is fairly long and bitter, carbonation is light and soft. Meh. Original rating January 2nd, 2017

Backlog from lost & found notes: Aroma is fruity and resiny. Ripe tropical fruits. Taste is a little too fizzy and sweet, but drinkable. I like my pale ale’s more modern in the style.

@ Röhälla 150716. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget. Fruity and hoppy with citrusy and light spicy notes, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry, fruity and hoppy.

DraftDodger (2784) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2015
Copenhagen 5/7 2015. 33 cl bottle brought home from Malmø by my girlfriend. Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is fruity - dominated by citrus and lemon. Rather soft carbonation. Taste is bitter with clear citrus notes and medium dry finish. Pleasant pale ale. Not outstanding but quite refreshing.

Beer5000 (7604) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 2, 2015
330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma of light pale malt, grass and a floral touch. Flavor is sweet, light malty, not much bitterness and a hint of grass. Medium to thin body with a short aftertaste. Plain and rather boring.

Bottle from the Systembolaget Hansacompagniet, Malmo. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, medicinal resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery resin herbal veggie palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. A big "thumbs down" from the Netherlands Jury!

visionthing (6182) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 12, 2014
33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with not so fresh hoppy notes with citrus, hints of tropical fruits and some floral notes. Moderate sweet with mild fruity flavours and a moderate bitterness. A bit disappointing and nothing I would buy again, but still quite drinkable.
