gripweed57 (5918) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 8, 2022UPDATED: MAY 8, 2022 12 ounce bottle. Rating number 5,900! Opaque brown color. Creamy tan head. Big roasted malt aroma has notes of maple and bacon. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Nutty, maple syrup notes. Bacony, smoky mid taste. Sticky mouthfeel. Hints of cocoa and coffee in finish. Interesting.
jgb9348 (9363) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 3, 2022UPDATED: MAY 3, 2022 Very dark brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall rich brown head that stays afloat nicely on top of a 80 per cent opaque brown body. Aroma of super pungent fresh real maple syrup, a lot of coffee notes and some small pork brine (bacon?) notes and a good deal of roasted malts of course, as well. Medium-bodied; Rich coffee and grainy notes shows at first with a lot of coffee notes and a touch of chocolate with some subdued smoked pork notes that show a bit of an artificial bite with a light sweetness at the end and a molasses and burnt sugar finish. Aftertaste is rich and complex from the flavours, but the malts don’t add too much of a completeness, with a thinnish feeling, especially at the end, that don’t seem to support all the flavours here. Overall, a decent enough beer with some big coffee and maple flavours, but the pork/bacon and malt aspects make this a bit underwhelming. Decent, but not worth spending a premium on this one, like I did. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Bonita Springs, Florida on 02-May-2022 US$6,36, sampled a day later at my hotel room here in Bonita Springs, Florida on 03-May-2022.
evjoker (211) - - FEB 22, 2022Good God is this delicious. It tastes like everything it says it does. Smells like coffee but tastes like maple syrup on pancakes with bacon.

Cristobal37 (2268) - Tustin, California, USA - FEB 8, 2022UPDATED: FEB 8, 2022 Pours black with lotsa head. Sweet and smoky maple aroma. Creamy body, sweet chocolate milk flavor, some bitter latte coffee taste. More chocolate milk sticks around. Another, is it beer? moment for me. I love a classic porter, but this tastes like a sweet Starbucks drink.

jw0406 (1789) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 20, 2021UPDATED: JUN 20, 2021 22 oz bottle pours a dark brow color with a small tan head. Aromas of maple, molasses, dark fruits. Full bodied, heavy, an interesting beer
Arbitrage411 (110) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 26, 2021UPDATED: JUL 19, 2021 Beige head with infinite myriad of bubbles. Opaque brown to black body of fluid in the glass. Think milkshake head along with aroma of pancake (maple syrup).
The real thing flavor. Chocolate like taste. Not as sweet but delivers same to the taste buds. None of an hoppy suggestion sneaks through the glass. Another healthy sip reveals dark fruits, date? Raisin or a blackish banana here was put into making a sugary creation. On the sweet side, different but does not deter - this beer is a keeper.
nick76 (4590) - Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 11, 2021UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 The aroma is rich with coffee roasted malt bacon and chocolate milk and a good bit of maple bacon. The appearance is dark brown with a big head that fades fast. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical for the style but a tad thin. Overall it's a very good beer.
tennisjoel (1971) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - MAR 26, 2021UPDATED: MAR 26, 2021 12 oz pour picked up from Corner Store in West Palm Beach, FL. Dark brown pour with a thinnish off white head. Aromas of maple, coffee, bacon, molasses, cream. Flavor very much mimics the nose. Slight smokiness from the bacon. This is quite delicious. Didn't know what to expect since some of these gimmicky type beers can be quite over the top. Really enjoying this.
AnokaBrewer (678) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - FEB 28, 2021UPDATED: FEB 28, 2021 Black pour with a tan head. Coffee and maple aroma. Initial taste is maple with a hint of coffee. Letting it warm up and I still do not get any bacon flavor.
