On tap at St. Arnoldus, Ieper, 25.8.18. Opaque dark amber with a white head. Honey, caramel, coriander and cinnamon in the nose, mildly sweet taste and alcohol that dissolves as you drink. Medium body, soft fizz, alcoholic finish.

Thanks to tderoeck, Bierridder_S & Rubin77. Sampled 250 ml. bottle @ Brugs Bier Festival 2018. Clear amber orange, creamy white head. Nose is awful, extremely metallic, dirty water, disgusting yeast. Spoiled rotting grain taste, watery, metallic, spoiled banana, rotting,… Really nasty.

M: Niet volmondig, medium carbonatie.

F: big, off-white, good retention. C: deep amber, clear. A: malt, caramel, honey, peach, light grassy. T: malt, honey, light caramel, almost no bitterness but still good thirst quencher, sample @ Zottegem Beerfestival 2016.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Golden with a thin head. Corny with vegetable and lemon. Yet, it’s not bad quite drinkable.

blackisle (3376) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - APR 13, 2016
Bottle 25cl. Poured into a teku glass. Clear medium amber, small frothy beige head, diminishing quickly, minimal lacing; aroma sweet malt, caramel, toasted, light alcohol notes; rather thin mouthfeel, taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light toffee, light spicy notes, aftertaste sweetbitter, finishes with a light malty roastiness; medium body, oilt texture, soft carbonation; oldskool pale ale, I have a weak spot for this kind of traditional Belgian ales.

kermis (18400) - Amsterdam-ish, NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2016
Bottle shared. Really nice label with a drawing of a cat wearing a crown, winking, holding a beer (I assume this one) and brushing itself up again a Belgian church spire. Solid. The beer itself is a clear amber brown with a small off white head. Aroma of cardboard. Boring. I feel cheated after the promise showed by the label, hoping for so much but delivering so little.

deanso (11725) - Georgetown, MALAYSIA - MAR 8, 2016
25cl bottle shared with kermis. Medium White head. Hazy amber pour. Very boring.
