Taste is about the same with the addition of some tropical fruits. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi-dry, moderately bitter, long finish. Appearance: Crystal clear with a golden yellow color and a thick white head. The bubbles are mixed with small and medium bubbles. Head retention is good.
Flavor: Strong malt flavor initially, with low touches of caramel and toasted grains. This is quickly followed by a strong hop presence. The bittering hops are dominant, but do not overpower the palate because the sweetness from the malts cut the bitterness. The flavor hops are earthy, grapefruit and a small amount of mint. Balance is hoppy.
Mouthfeel: Moderate carbonation, medium body, no alcohol warmth. Moderate astringency noted from the bittering hops.
Overall: A strong IPA with a good balance of malts to tone down the bitterness. Overall a very pleasant IPA with a not too dominate after taste.
