UPDATED: APR 23, 2019 On tap in the Winnipeg Airport. Has a brownish body with copper notes and okay foam on top. Smells of a very macro lager with sweet fake malt hints, cardboard sugar, that kind of smell you smelled from the couch at your drunken uncle's house when you visited him as a kid in 1983 to watch the Jets in the playoffs. Flavour is smooth fake amber malt and nothing else. Full on the mouth and completely uninteresting, but approachable for those who live in fear of craft beer. tlind2 (1996) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 6, 2018
Bottle. Amber color, creamy off-white head. Smooth, malty flavor with some floral hops. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not bad. KieranBS (10) - - JUN 10, 2017
Don't know why this doesn't have a higher rating. Has everything I'm looking for in a beer. Good flavour, not to much aftertaste, and goes down very well

Bottle at a bar in Winnipeg. Golden, light head, malts and grass? Not a great choice. silvorgold (42) - Brandon, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 21, 2015
Solid take on Fort Garry's popular Pale Ale beer with a zest of bitter hops added to it.
Amber in colour, medium amount of bitter hops to give it a mellow pine and citrus aroma. Moderately bitter tasting, very grassy and hint of lemon zest. Very easy to drink.

My hopes weren’t high for this. But it was decent. Pours a dark golden with lots of white head. Aromas of grains, tropical fruit. Flavours are sweet and juicy. Tropical fruit mostly. The hops used really elavate an otherwise average beer.dreamflower (794) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 18, 2015

This is unspectacular in almost every way. crisp, and easy drinking are some of the better things i can say about this beer. As far as Manitoba brewed pale ale’s go, stick with half pints st.james pale ale.
Growler sample shared with northropfrye. Faint aroma of musty clean straw. Clear golden colour. Disappating head. Taste of musty straw with a slight hint of a floral element. I like it. northropfrye (4095) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 18, 2015
Light pale orange body foamy white head and some lacing. Slight pine, citrus and perfume aroma. Taste is sweet malts and a touch of perfumy hops. Not bad, but could be much hoppier.vadie (1316) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 13, 2014

Bottle. Nothing special here. A nice quality pale ale with nothing noteworthy in the flavour.
Texture aqueuse. (812-160913)
