UPDATED: SEP 18, 2020 Can. Pours copper. Lemon, floral, grapefruit, tangerine, little toffee biscuit stuff, slight bitterness in the finish. Good body. Really good. BelgianBeerGal (5157) - Panama City, Florida, USA - SEP 12, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 On tap at Draft House Indy. Had multiple times but finally rated. This is just a classic IPA. Not a coast-styles IPA, just a balanced IPA with moderate bitterness. Caramel malt, pine resin. Always nice. brigg (989) - New York, USA - SEP 9, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2020 (Can) Lightly hazy copper body with a medium, diminishing off-white head that leaves a coat of lace on the glass. Aroma of malty caramel base and dry pine hop resin. Light to medium body, soft carbonation and velvety mouthfeel. Flavor is dusty, pine resin hops, moderate to heavy caramel malt; butterscotch; straw; citrus pith; orange, grapefruit; faint peach and berries; very dry finish. shawnmurphy (1539) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - SEP 7, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2020 12-ounce can pours clear golden amber with a 1/4' creamy beige head. Aroma: tropical fruit medley at the forefront, followed some some citrus fruits and honey. Flavor: honey, butterscotch, candied tangerine peels, shortbread, toast, pine; lingering bitterness, nicely balanced. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a slick finish. A really nice pale ale. ganache (6594) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 7, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2020 Getting around to this years after first hearing about it, can from 07/26/20. Nose is Citra with a little more resin and cookie dough than usual, hops fill the room. Pour clear burnished orange or even copper with a large and rocky off-white head. MEdium-bitterness accentuated with dryness (that initial Citra sweetness dries out super quickly), but rounded and ultra-smooth bitterness, no tang, no lupulin; dough with caramel and a little pine and general wood, not juicy but creamy-smooth with medium, slightly flabby malt. Clean medium body with no yeast, touch more alcohol showing through than should, touch oily and certainly perfumed in the finish. Wonder if this has more punch the day it's released? Or if everybody overreacted and the reputation hasn't regressed yet? Yep, that's the one. [2020.09.07: 3.7]
One thing I like the inadertant residuals gained from the timing of its birth -- with its heavier caramel and pine base and courage in the face of bitterness this has more in common with early-2000s IIPAs, heck, even SNPA, than everything conceived of after the 'cloudy' / 'hazy' / 'juicy' revolution -- and it's all the better for the balance.

Juicy aroma with pine & stewed fruit.
Medium bodied, tingly with a very clean dry back.
Bitter citrus, pine, resinous & stewed fruit tastes with a malty backbone & long tangy finish.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2020 De Mikkeller webshop. Ballena blanca cazada Weevo (201) - Indiana, USA - AUG 9, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2020 Pours burnt orange with fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Taste the same with some pine. Light bodied, easy drinking more like a light IPA than a pale ale.
