COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This bold, imperial brown ale gets its body from a team of malts including Caramel malt for sweetness, flaked barley for dense foam, a bit of Chocolate malt for its deep color and Aromatic and Munich malts to add even more depth. German and Perle hops add a touch of bitterness to balance the malty sweetness. The addition of rich Sumatra coffee takes this perfectly balanced imperial brown ale to a decadent level.

Wow. This is easily one of the best browns I’ve had in a long time. Thick and rich. Tons of caramel and toffee, hints of chocolate and a dense boozy character. Quite nice.

Beer pours cola brown with fluffy head. Sweet caramel aroma. It's sweet. Lots of caramel and very nutty. The coffee is there but not overwhelming. Boozy. Decent.

Too much coffee that overpowers others aromas. Barely can smell some malts, but not hops. Surprisingly unbalanced.

0.355l bottle@ pours reddish dark brown, hazy with dissipating light brown/ beige foamy head. Aroma: intense malt character, supported with herbal, citrusy, grassy hop character. Flavor: malts with notes of toffee, caramel, coffee, milk and dark cacao bitter chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, molasses, ...intense roasted coffee...supported with herbal, floral, grassy hop profile. Dry, bitter fiish. Alcohol is noticeable but decent. Body is medium to to full, textute smooth, carbonation is moderate. Intense complex palate.

smells of medium roast coffee beans and a stunted boozy heaviness. flavor wheel consists of coffee, wood, tad soy saucy, and chocolate. full body and mouthfeel. high ABV and bitter warming finish. a tasty post-dinner sipper and a knock-out brown ale.

I think the biggest misconception about me is people really don't know who I really am. They see the party side of me, they see the crazy side of me. But I also have a laid-back side. You know, I'm chill, down to earth. If you want to grab a cup of coffee and just talk about life, I can do that.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 Creamy and smooth, with a hint of coffee. Slightly sweet, with a scent and feel of peanut butter. Silky head. Just a tad sharp in the back end.

Goryczka średnio-niska, kawowa w posmaku. Alkohol niewyczuwalny, ale piwo uderza do głowy.

0,355l bottle at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks for this one. Bottled 03/31/2017. black color, small tan head. smells of coffee, bitter herbs, hints of sweetness, some chocolate, very light lactose. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, bitter herbal, light vanilla, bit peppery, chlorophyl, lightly lactic, light molasses, bit earthy. finishes lightly earthy bitter with notes of molasses, coffee and light vanilla. nice one, taste is not very fresh and crisp, but overall rather enjoyable beer.

355mL bottle from BeerLove. Bottled 04/13/17 Near-opaque brown body, holds a beige head. Toasty, nutty, chocolatey aroma, not a huge amount of coffee per se but a sort of rich earthiness in there add complexity. Rich body, full, thick, not quite syrupy but lingering, all encompassing. BOOM coffee smacks through on the palate - rich, sweet, earthy, almost liqueur-like coffee - spicy with malty notes of dark toffee & chocolate. Smooth finish, sweetness balanced with an earthy note of bitterness. Intense very nice & rich beer.
