UPDATED: MAR 18, 2018 Lacy brown head on a dark black/brown clear body. Smells like boozy coffee. Bitter, black coffee taste. Not super creamy but that suits me. A clean bitter coffee taste. lasage (60) - DENMARK - MAR 18, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2018 Fad @ Industrien. Mørk brun. God duft, malt, brød, tung. En er god, flere bliver for tung. ttoadee (1735) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 14, 2018
Deep brown pour, finger of tan head. Nose is nutty coffee. Middle is creamy chocolate malt, touch coffee, hazelnuts, presence of oak. Finish shows the ABV, with sweet carmel malt and mellow woody bitterness. Manslow (2051) - Warsaw, POLAND - MAR 13, 2018
Butelka 355ml wypite w domu. Kolor brązowy, klarowny, piana jasnobrązowa dość wolno opada zostawiając ładne ślady na szkle. Aromat kawowy zdecydowany, niska goryczka. Raczej półwytrawne z odrobiną słodyczy, alkohol dobrze ukryty, rozgrzewa jednak mocno, świetne piwo. EvNa (696) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - MAR 12, 2018
Bottle. Color: Very dark ruby, light brown head. Taste: Nicely balanced between medium sweet and medium bitter notes. Notes of coffee and nuts. Hints of caramel. Earthy. Above medium to full body, below average carbonation. Long lasting bittery coffee finish. Very well balanced. Another very nice Founders beer.

Very dark brown with thick fluffy head. Aroma has lots of sweet coffee. Flavour is much more bitter with a tonne of burnt coffee. Pleasantly rich snd smooth

355 ML bottle
deep dark brown color, slight hints of ruby. Long lasting light tan head. Leaves spotty lacing on sides of the glass.
Nose is Coffee, lots of coffee. Green capsicum, roast grain, chocolate, toffee, and warmed gritty earth.
Taste is coffee, capsicum, toffee, bitter chocolate and bitter coffee. Coffee does back off a bit and get the malts.
Medium bodied. Light carbonation. Maybe a bit too much coffee. floydslip (436) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 25, 2018
Oak-brown beer with a creamy tan head that lasts. Nose of unsweetened coffee, almonds, and vanilla. Flavor is a bit sweeter with coffee & cream, chocolate covered caramel, and candied nuts followed by a roasted bitterness. Medium bodied with a luxurious mouth feel, this is a rich, flavorful brown ale. Palidor19 (3200) - Brandon, Florida, USA - FEB 25, 2018
Strong coffee flavor in the front, mellow out, has a scrubbing finish. Lingering astringent like nuts.
