Very dark in colour, but only a lightly toasted flavour. More sweet than bitter. Very smooth. Quite drinkable if served ice cold. IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - JAN 5, 2004
Well, it's dark. That's about all this beer has going for it. Sweet and harsh. I guess that's where the "massive" comes in. Shenzer (48) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 12, 2003
this is dave's worst beer product, even though his other one's are very shitty as well. People dont drink daves. Only bums drink Daves beer. markymark (82) - Duluth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 26, 2002
Absolutely horrible. Wanted to puke halfway through drinking it it tasted so bad...massively horrible is more like it. CapFlu (5136) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 7, 2002
All the massive irishmen I have met in my life would be sickened by this beer... Dave, get out of the business!

I agree with dhurtubise on this one... ouch Dark... Irish I don't know about that dhurtubise (568) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2002
Nice try dave. Typical of this guy to make a cheap beer and sell it cheap under the pretense that it is a premium product. Dark, sweet, lightly hopped. I wouldn't have it again. Bov (14988) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 24, 2002
dark colour, fine lace coffee aroma, toasted, smooth........................ Oakes (22352) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 26, 2002
Mild-tasting, but with a pleasing dark malt palate. I'm not sure that 'massive' is the operative word.
