COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 0,5 l flaske. Gave fra Gudrun. Klar dyp kobbergyllen kropp med fingertykt fluffy beige skum. Stram kald peislukt dominerer i nesa. Søt og noe vassen i munnen med røyksmaken som bærebjelke. Ganske mild og med forsiktig karbonering blir den i grunnen helt grei å drikke.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Looks good in the glass, zippy, nice head. Fine smoky aroma. Starts malty, smoky, some notes of bacon. Finish milder, less smoky. Not bad.

Erzengel (14471) - Saarland & Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2018
500ml bottle. The beer has a smooth and slightly smoked nose. Fresh floral beginning, the smoke is there only far in the back. Nice hints of roast and dry malts. Smooth smoked mild aftertaste, sweetish grainy, very dry in total with a grainy bitter aftertaste with smokey layer on top. Interesting and refreshing, but more on the mild side.

Smoke is dominating the aroma in addition to caramel and hints of chocolate. Golden-brownish appearance with a white foam. The smoke is moderate and balanced in the taste: medium bitterness and light-medium sweetness. Medium body. Actually a fine smoked brew from Danish Krenkerup.

Aroma; gentle tar, peat, wood, roasted malts, caramel. Look; off white head, amber brownish clear body. Taste; roasted malts, sweet tar, peat, smoke, wood, caramel, grass, tart - finishes gently smoked, brown caramel malts. Feel; ok body, ok co2. Overall; close to the German recipe. Nice.
