Pours Black with the big tan head. The aroma is of dark fruit and the flavor is more of a spice taste. Cloves? Overall a pretty good quad not my favorite though.

sinfull (1846) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - NOV 3, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Dark brown with big, off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeasts, raisins dark fruits, toffees , malt an hint of chocolate. Rich , moderately sweet taste . No signs of alcohol. Great.

coachd (972) - Missouri, USA - OCT 13, 2017
Spicy aroma that also contains dark malt, some plum/fig and booze. Dark brown color with a tan head. Very pleasant to drink, well balanced and slightly sweet on the aftertaste. Just a tinge of booze heat but in this instance it serves to balance things out. A bit light on the palate. I would never have believed that this beer is 10.5% ABV. Quads are not usually my thing but Unibroue knocked it out of the park with this one.

I wanted to finish my 150th with a great beer. I got this one as a trade with a friend, bullseye.

partchapol (143) - Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Smell of yeast, caramel, date, roasted malt. Come in black dark brown with thin cream crown. Taste of balanced sour yeast and sweet bitter malt, with some raisins. Close to Belgium quadruple beer but with less spice for commoners like us. Could experiment more on that. Overall it’s very good beer.

750mL. I’m not gonna bore you with the same details everyone else already posted on this. I will say that given expectations (and given that I generally like the brewer) this one was a bit of a letdown. So many better Quads. Who knows. Maybe it’s an old bottle. Oh and... fuck the Penguins.
