(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles, Brussels, 25 Oct 2013) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with note of dark bread, caramel and prunes. Malty taste with dark bread, caramel, roasted malt and a mild bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with balanced sweetness. Quite nice. ZwartePiet (60) - BELGIUM - OCT 28, 2013

Pours dark ruby red with high durable head. Smells very hoppy-floral and malty-spicy. Starts delicious hoppy, citrussy with some pine woods. In the background is some caramel noticeable. The middle part is hoppy bitter with some malty caramel notes. Goes into a very floral hoppy finish, paired with some malty spices. Really well done!!!
Bottle 33 cl thanks to Marjorie Jacobi. A *huge* beige and solid foam over a brown inscrutable body sprinkled with rust and plum rays. Aroma is complex for a mild: in addition to the spicy character, ground coffee and pepper notes, classic indeed, a good hops invest the scene with a subtle citrus, pine and cutted tree branch pattern. Body is really light, but carbonation is medium and well balanced. You could find brown sugar, malt, licorice. Great session-soul, goes down in your throat dangerously. Needs seconds to show its powerful finish full of pepper, ashes, grass, licorice. Long and pleasant. Never had on tap, but I bet you that could be more, more better. gunnfryd (16604) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 18, 2012

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, leather, aceton. Flavour is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, sour notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 4%. Good brown sugar aroma. Cloudy light brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is mildly roasted with a good yeast note. Tastes much like a German Dunkelweizen - and not too bad at that. yespr (52452) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild toasted and light caramelish. Mild yeasty. Spiced, bitter and slight herbal. Dry and slight spiced finish. Papsoe (25052) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with an off-white head. Sweet brown sugar in the nose. Light body, subtle roast and rather fresh flowery hops. Dryish finish. But quite enjoyable. 180212 Ungstrup (41982) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of moldy hay, straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, yeast, fruits, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a dry chocolaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
