COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark, almost black porter, named for the part of the brewing process not quite covered by science. Dark Arts is brewed using a healthy dose of Black malt and Chocolate malt, to add to the flavour as well as to give the beer its dark colour. This unfiltered porter has a clear roasty flavour, but with hints of caramel and chocolate, while maintaining enough bitter hop presence to preserve its balance

Tap at Mad For Beer in Rome-Italy. Very dark brown with caramel highlights and tick/creamy beige foam. Nose: coffee is there but quite hidden or covered by cocoa powder. Mouth is watery as a porter should be, roast with punch of caramel. Quite bitter.

Berthom / Rouen. D’un noir intense , elle parait tout d’abord intéressante. Puis , au goût , force est de constater que c’est une pale copie de la Guiness.

On tap, 25cL. @Les Berthom I, Lyon. A very dark brown sparkling beer with a big beige creamy head ; great retention. Fruits (blackberry), light caramel, roast, herb, dark chocolate, coffee note. Light to medium sweet, light to medium dry bitter refreshing. No real taste depth but ok. Light to medium body, light silky texture, soft carbonation, roasty dry refreshing finish. Overall, good !
