Bomber. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and coconut. Taste is sweet chocolate coconut with a coffee like hint (in my opinion). It's pretty good but there are definitely better coconut porter/stout options here in CO that are less painful on the wallet. superspak (6232) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - DEC 10, 2017
750 ml bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted coconut, caramel, fudge, marshmallow, toffee, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, cream, coffee, almonds, smoke, char, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, cocoa nib, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted coconut, caramel, fudge, marshmallow, toffee, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of vanilla, cream, coffee, almonds, smoke, char, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted coconut, caramel, fudge, marshmallow, toffee, dark/brown bread, vanilla, cream, coffee, almonds, smoke, char, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, cocoa nib, and light earthy hop flavors; with an awesome roasted bitter/sweet balance; and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Light sticky hops, chalky roast, and dryness. Zero warming alcohol for 9.4%. Overall this is an amazing flavored imperial porter! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, cocoa nib, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV. I love the regular beer, but this is definitely a huge step up on richness. Super fudgey and dessert like, but never cloying or overly sweet. Perfect balance of coconut, cocoa nib, and base porter malt complexity. A really amazing offering. Andrus86 (722) - Busselton, WA, AUSTRALIA - DEC 3, 2017
Black with red hue, zero head..
Smells like a bounty choc bar..
Light body for abv, nice dark choc malt that hits that husky coconut.. Sourced Maui brewpub waikiki wetherel (1899) - Cupertino, California, USA - NOV 22, 2017
On tap at the brewpub. Deep reddish black color. Rich caramel toasty sweet malty aromas. Reminiscent of market stormakstporter. Lightest hint of abv. Medium high body. Nice light effervescent tongue tingling. Leans dry. Excellent. dorain (714) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2017

On tap at St. Augustine during 1500 menu event. Shared with mcberko (thx, Matt!). Pours an almost black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with some coconut notes. Taste is very sweet with coconut and lots of chocolate notes. Despite it is too sweet, it is pleasant. JPDIPSO (6300) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Very dark brown with a taller tan head. Heavy lace. Light sweet start. A dark chocolate flavors with a bit of coconut oil underneath. Smooth lightly oily feel. A pleasant quaff. 7/12

750ml bottle. Rich toasted coconut aroma with notes of roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of coffee. Pours deep brown with a decent mocha brown head that has some retention and lacing. Starts with roasted malt flavors with a nice amount of chocolate sweetness. Finishes smooth with sweet and creamy coconut flavors with a hint of coffee. Quite nice. b3shine (9281) - Indiana, USA - JAN 26, 2017
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a slightly translucent very dark (almost dull black) cola with beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of dark malt, cocoa, and coffee up front with some coconut on the back end that comes out more as it warms. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied. Good, but way overpriced. bhensonb (15985) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 19, 2017
Capped 750 from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown with a significant foamy tan head. Aroma is not quite Mounds Bar, but it’s certainly a near relation. Med ++ body. Flavor is oh so Mounds Bar. Woof! Ok. It’s oh so Woof! Someone just hit me with phaser on stun. This is luscious. The smooth dark malt elegantly supports the Mounds Bar. This is about as subtle as a brick. But it’s very, very delicious. It’s not very dry, but the coconut seems to stand in for balance. Stunning ale.
