WillySenpai (220) - MEXICO - AUG 15, 2022

So, mine is called Martens, no Pils, no Premium on the can, just 5% and it's brewed with corn; so I'll park this one here for the moment; it's tagged 30/08/19 which makes me think it was packaged 8 months ago. The colour is blond, pale, clean. The aroma is mild, not too smelly; dry, crisp, but that corn pops up, it has a bit of stale cereal feeling, the bitterness is very low, and the finish is short.
This is a no for me.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2019 While in Bocholt... Sitting in the really cool Baazaar bar, within a few minutes of the brewery, I had to check the local beer. Nice, clean standard pils on a beautiful spring day.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2019 Review is for Bocholt Premium Lager (an alias of Martens according to Rate Beer): Served from 11.2 oz bottle into pint glass. A 1' pillowy white head falls slowly with mild lacing. Color is clear gold. Abundant streaming carbonation. Aroma of toasted malt, yeast, and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with a dry finish. Flavor is well balanced between sweet malt grain and grassy hops. Really enjoyable.
