COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop pale ale showcases the Citra hop for a well balanced beer that is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. She roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. pseudoSue’s unique and addictive taste is clean and bright with just enough bite!

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2019 Had this a number of times, but realized I never actually rated it. 16 oz can purchased at Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids while there to spend Thanksgiving with the wife's family ($2.99). POURS an amber-orange hue with two fingers of white foam. AROMA of lightly sweet and creamy citrus fruit, additional stone and tropical fruit notes, light pine, and some earthy and dank hops. FLAVOR of Orange Julius (i.e. regular oranges with some vanilla), under ripe tropical fruit, and some honey malt presence. Juicy presence with a creamy mouthfeel and low bitterness. This is a great beer that I have had several times, but seems a little lower with this ranking since I just had the King Sue for the first time yesterday. Prefer the Mosaic dry hopped version of this as well (the Mosaic adds further complementary nuances above the Citra), but this base beer is still great. (905, 1157)

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2019 16 oz can purchased as a single at Tipsys in Mission, Kansas. PKG 09/18/19 stamped on bottom of can. The pour is a cloudy hazed yellow with a foamy one inch white head, leaving behind splotchy lace. The aroma is lemon citrus, soft grass and a round bitterness. The taste is clean grapefruit lemon citrus, with pine, grass, mineral and softly bitter in the back. The palate is unfiltered, medium bodied with soft carbonation and the mineral pine bitter to the back. Solid.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2019 Flight at Brewdog Bar Soho. Hazy yellow colour with white head. Big citrus hops, tropical fruit hops, lemon pith, dried mango, lemon peel, yellow grapefruit peel, papaya, tangerine, light lychee, light pink grapefruit, light onion (?), light bready malt, light bitterness. Super drinkable and almost refreshing (?) but doesn't compromise on hop character at all, definitely pushes the APA style to its limits, not even sure if this can still be called an APA at this point but it's a really great hoppy beer whatever it is.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2019 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a big foamy white head. Bold hoppy citrus aroma. Smooth with a soft texture and a full mouth feel with a light tingling on the tongue. Bold citrus flavor with very little bitterness. Finishes smooth with a lingering citrus rind aftertaste. Very refreshing and enjoyable.
