COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop pale ale showcases the Citra hop for a well balanced beer that is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. She roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. pseudoSue’s unique and addictive taste is clean and bright with just enough bite! Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 01/20/21, 2 months old
Cloudy to murky blond colour. Fruity hops, accent on citrus fruits, peel-y, bitter grapefruit; dry mouthfeel, but with good body strength; it's also a bit chalky, and definitively astringent in the finish. Has potential to be much better on tap at the source.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 1 Pint can. Pours hazy yellow with a big fluffy head. Piney herbal hoppy notes, loads of citrus notes (tangerine, orange zest, grapefruit), a bit of skunk, hints of mango, papaya and pineapple. Crisp hoppy bitterness, light fruity sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Nice juicy and crisp Pale Ale!

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2021 Cloudy golden color with a white head. Intense floral and tropical/citrus fruit aroma. Smooth mouthfeel with a bitter finish, but not overly so. Sort of crosses the bridge between hazy IPA and pale ale, but captures the better part of both styles.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2021 Can. A bit on the murky side. Not much head. Fresh citrusy hop nose with a hint of tropical fruit. Melon, grapefruit, orange on the palate. Medium bitterness, which I appreciate. The malts are ok. So bright hops and ok malts but that hop character is pretty good.
