UPDATED: MAY 26, 2019 Alot better than the normal fosters, easy drinking lager. Nothing special. p0urmeac0ld0ne (791) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - AUG 31, 2017
fosters gold always seemed like to me they sucked all the life out of a fosters and tried to package it as some fancy smooth pilsner or something, which it totally isn't. i mean, it doesn't taste bad; it's just so light that it doesn't really taste of anything and is a complete waste of money. it tries to be subtle like some of the brews from eastern lands but comes off tasting of absolutely bugger all. Not a gross beer. Quite drinkable, but there’s not much too it. Looks nice. Generous lacing from the pillowy head on a golden brew, but the nose is fermented corn and the taste is about the same. alexmate (524) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2016
Golden colour with high carbonation, big head goes flat quickly, minimal lacing. Nose: is of wheat, barley\corn and hops. Taste is of hops, sweet lime and some of that wheaty woody taste you get with cheap German lager like the stubby beers. Not bad, but not good. Price Paid: free as it was out of date. meldorf75 (121) - - SEP 4, 2016
Flat aroma, Avrige close to poor lager taste
Very coercing lager with no haracter.

When originally released this was a pleasant enough upgrade over the original fosters, adding more strength at 4.8% abv and more depth and body to the taste. However it has been diluted to 4.5% and then again to 4.3% since it’s release and the beer now has a taste\palate far more in common with normal fosters than the original Fosters Gold. Seems bizarre to me they have brought it more inline with fosters as such undermining this supposed premium beer against its rivals. lokis333 (836) - Birai, LITHUANIA - JUL 17, 2016
Clear golden color with strong white foam. Aromas of are sweet of rum and sugar snaps with a little light spice of cinamon mixed with lager malt. Palate, medium/light body with thin texture and surprisangly flat! leaving light sweet, with developing dryness finish. Tastes flat and sweet with notes of spice and water (very watery) Overall, surprisable drinkable without off flavours or off aromas. shoestring (530) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - APR 25, 2016
Okay . Drunk after some efes and this had more of the skunky aftertaste. Ok and better than some cheaper lagers. HonestGriff (64) - Birkenhead, Merseyside, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2015
Poor beer, it’s something you would drink at a party when all the good beer has gone. Great colour but lacks depth, favour and punch. Beerhunter111 (28196) - Beerland, GERMANY - NOV 11, 2015
30cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain, water. Taste is grainy, mild hoppy, cereals, watery palate.
