COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In playful pursuit of butterflies a Red Fox danced across the brewery hill. His joy so pure it bubbled through our hearts and into this beer. Laughing Fox is a sparkling Kristal Weizen brewed in the Bavarian tradition with 50% Wisconsin wheat in our open top fermenters. Tickle your nose notes of spicy clove and cinnamon abound. Dan’s inspired Weizen interpretation reflects the deep bittersweet color of our Fox’s red coat. Expect this beer to pour a lively effervescent glass thick with creamy foam and bursting with luscious fruity notes on your pallet. This is easy drinking beer perfect for a friendly Wisconsin evening. Relax, this is God’s Country, here we have the strength to reach for the stars and change the world.

juiceisloose (3847) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JUN 30, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2020 12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark amber color and topped by a thick, pillowy layer of foam that shows great retention before slowly setting to a thin film and coating the glass in the lace. The aroma shows notes big banana, clove, cinnamon, and spice over a crisp wheat malt base with notes of Hefe yeast and floral hops. The flavor follows with the banana, clove, and cinnamon spice up front to go with the crisp wheat malts, some yeasty esters, and a firm floral hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with lively carbonation that leads to a slightly bitter sweet banana, clove, and some floral notes on the finish. Really nice and easy to drink Kristallweizen, but I much prefer Dancing Man Wheat for drinking a wheat beer.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2020 A wheat/Amber beer with a very foamy pour. Has a mild wheat taste in an amber red beer. Ruth wanted to hate it but it has a nice finish.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2020 Nice looking beer that pours dark amber with a dense and dissipating head. Aroma of wheat and lots of banana. Taste is banana, clove, caramel, and cinnamon, but they are all balanced superbly. Has a fantastic lasting mouthfeel that is both creamy and carbonated. Great beer by New Glarus. Will be getting this one again!

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2020 Bottle thanks to Drake! Amber pour with a gigantic soft beige head. Dried floral hops, lemon zest, wheat nose. Banana - soft and overripe (but not sweet), wheat, nuttiness, bread. Nice.

bratschepeter (92) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 29, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2019 12oz bottle. Pours a clear red-amber color, visibly sparkling, featuring a generous pillowy off-white head reminiscent of traditional German Weizenbier and/or Pilsner. The head dissipates quite slowly to about the thickness of a pencil; the lacing is delicate and light. Aroma features some fruity banana-clove notes, along with some light caramel and bready-raisiny undertones. The taste promotes the light caramel malt aspect and some sweet-sour flavors with a light bitter finish. Nice frothy mouthfeel – an easy-drinking keeper.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2019 This is the first dark kristall weizen that I've ever heard of let alone tasted. The appearance of this one is good with a huge very long lasting thick foamy cream-colored head but the thing with a traditional Krystal weizen is the crystalline Clarity of the beer. It's seemingly brilliant. Anyway this one has nice Bavarian style flavors. This one is also a bit heavier and Fuller in body than the traditional pale colored Style.

StoutBeerReviews (482) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2019 Much more carbonated than I was originally expecting, but i guess that's part of the style. Never heard of it before? starts fruity, ends spicy. I would have rated this lower because of the carbonation, but since i'm not super familiar, I bumped it up :)

BlackBeerPG (2891) - Roselle, Illinois, USA - MAY 4, 2016
Taste: Crisp, malty wheat, spiced cinnamon notes. Sweet bread nose. Amber color and clear with average head. Medium to lite body appetizer beer.
