COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2021 12 fl can. Lagerish smell of grass, but on top strong hops. Not sure if I want an IPA when i have a pilsener, but anyway. Good looking not super carbonated. Taste like a pilsener for sure, but you can feel the hoppy smell there. It's pretty good!! it must be hard to accomplish this for sure.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2021 12oz can. Poured a clear, blonde-yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was slightly sweet grain notes - really big pils malts, grassy hops. Clean and easy to drink. Slight herbal notes, pils malts. Nice stuff.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2020 My green can says pivo but it doesn't say hoppy pils, it just says pilsner. Pour is clean and bright yellow to the eye. Taste is certainly big old euro pilsner sharp bite. Pretty good co2 on the palate. Decently refreshing yet that pilsner sharp bite almost becomes naggingly astringent in the middle, quite distracting. Yes a little too much sharp bitter bullshit to be enjoyable. Some spicy attitude in there from the noble hops. Not bad, but that bitter bite really becomes hard to ignore in the end, very annoying.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2020 Not a pilsner, an american hoppy lager, but fairly well done. But i do find the early hops lead to a bit of a heavy bitterness. Freshcraft denver

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2019 Bottle from Total Wine in San Jose. I’ve been eager to try this after getting rave reviews from Marshall on The Brülosophy podcast. Certainly the best brewing podcast. Love it. Straw color with small white foam. Classic Pilsner aroma with a hint of sulphurous skunk, maybe from Saaz hops. Nice breast malty flavor. Medium low bitterness. Easy to drink.

Beese (11417) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2019
330ml can in 2017. Clear golden with a white head that dissipated. Straw, bready malt and fennel aroma. Flavour has some grassy notes, cornbread herbs and a good building hop bitterness.
