Ruskeahko, laimean colan värinen. Hyvin pieni vaahto. Haju todella vahva ja ominainen, savua ja pekonia.

Bottle sample at a tasting in our place. Thanks DSG. Pours cloudy amber with beige film. Aroma: chipotle, wood, smoked sausage, a little peppery. Tastes spicy and sweet-ish. Long hot pepper and wood finish, medium body. AWESOME!

Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks omhper for this bottle! Slightly hazy amber with a frothy white head. Nice strong smoked sausages aroma with peat, cigars and caramel hints. Smoky flavor with some slightly caramelly malt sweetness, burnt wood, peat malt and meaty notes. Finishes drier. Medium-bodied. A decent Smoked.

Svesse (11263) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 17, 2012
(Bottle) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, smoky nose with notes of dried fruit, smoked ham, orange peel and a touch of rose-hips. Fruity, smoky taste with citrus, dried apricots, smoked ham and a gentle citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. The smoked character is quite well balanced in the taste, making the beer tasty and very drinkable. Nice one.

Garlic_of_Doom (677) - SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours light amber with a 2 finger white head that quickly dissolves. Has passed best before date with a couple of months, hoppiness might me a bit smaller than last time. Smells mostly smoke. Taste is a little hoppy, more malty than hoppy and of course a lot of smoke. There is a lot of smoke but it’s quite "light" and doesn’t take over the other tastes. Light-Medium body. Long smoky aftertaste. Paired well with salty food.

fiulijn (25783) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2012
Dark amber color; the medium sized head reduces quickly to a small layer. Very nice, subtle, smoke aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is good caramel flavor and good smoke, with correct bitterness.
A very fine beer, it has strong smoke presence, and great balance; not heavy as the Schlenkerla ones, but it also goes well with food.
