Predominantly Clara plus a hair of Edward - not barrel aged. Spiked with funk from dregs of our favorite bottles... maybe even a touch of lemon?

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2019 From bottle. Big thanks to Nightfall!! Light unclear golden color with very nice white head. Aroma has some strange plastic notes, you can still get funk, floral and citrus notes. Sweet ald light bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with average carbonation.

*1/10/2014 750ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass. A~ cloudy, glowing light orange with a huge fluffy head and a good amount of lacing. S~ tons of brett funk! really in your face! along with strong citrus notes, white pepper, and bready saison yeast. T~ a lot more subtle here but still pretty much following the nose. Clara definitely shines bringing white/black pepper and bread like saison yeast to the table. then the tad of Edward pops in with surprisingly still some hop presence and the citrus that comes along with it! brett funk all around! M~ extremely refreshing! the carbonation is still spot on and its oh so smooth! O~ i honestly wasn’t expecting too much from this blend but i’m rather surprised. the dregs had to have been from some Belgium lambics/geueze, the brett funk is just so pronounced! which really adds a lot to this brew and i’m sure has matured over time. i’m glad i could finally complete the CD series, CD1 up next!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with large frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is funk, oak, lemon zest. Medium body, funk, lemon, oak, held up nicely, very good.

Very old tick from the crackberry. Tried at BW Sess during Hill Farm anniversary party 2 years ago with Bill. Pours light golden color with medium foamy white top. Aromas and tastes are similar with lemon, brett, white pepper, and well funk. Lacked some citrus notes but she was pretty old at the time of opening this bottle. Medium bodied with floral finish. Still very nice, but wish I had her 6-8 months earlier.

Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.
Pours clear golden with a giant, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma has lemons, funk, crisp malts, apple, soft tartness, pepper and a bit of chestnut. Medium carbonation, rather light and nice dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, citrussy, freshly ground pepper, light funky dryness. Freshly peeled green apple. Lovely drynes with a sharp dose of white pepper at the end. Incredible balance.

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael. Civil Disobedience 1-3 side by side. The beer is hazy and pale yellow hued with a towering, white, frothy head. The aroma offers citrus, lemon, grass. The flavor brings forth a nice citrus character, with additional notes of earth, wheat, light funk. Light in body and easy drinking. A delicate hop bitterness in the finish with a bit of sour funk. Overall, I enjoyed this brew. Well done. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-02-2012

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a super cloudy golden with a humungous, slowly-dissipating foamy white head. Aroma is very funky and barnyard, with notes of bleach and soap in there as well. Flavour is very wild and funky, very much like Clara, with almost a bleach quality from the brett, soap and loads of yeast. High carbonation, but fitting for the style. The soap and bleach are a little detracting but it drinks extremely well – super refreshing.

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toast, citrus, hay, light toffee, floral and light grass. Taste of citrus, toffee, toasted malts, earthy yeast, and a dry finish
