That is one good dunkel. Not too sweet, very crushable. Good head retention and nice dark but clear beer. Brewer studied in germany, and he paid attention. Awesome stuff Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 16, 2016
from Au Grain d’Orge, Neuchâtel - very dark brown beer with no head retention; roasted aroma of banana, spices and metal; solid carbonation, medium-bodied, harsh palate; aftertaste of hazelnut and cola; more roastiness fombe89 (3266) - Asturias, SPAIN - JUL 10, 2016

In short: An unexpressive burgundy lager with ripe bananas, spiciness and all... Uninteresting.
How: Tap at brewpub.
The look: Clear burgundy body topped by a small beige head.
In long: Nose is ripe banana peels with a mild anise-like spiciness. Body is slender, medium carbonation, ok mouthfeel even if a bit too “clean” for the style. Taste is dried bananas, notes of toffee, mild spicy notes of anise and nutmeg, tree bark, cigar. A correct array of flavors for the style but those flavors were not very expressive. A slightly below average example of a style I’m not fond of. When drinking at Praxis I found myself wondering if there is a way to accurately measure boredom anally.
