Very pale Maris Otter Malt and traditional English Goldings hops replicate the original pale bitter. Bitterness is robust but well rounded with a spicy peppery finish and heady alcohol esters.

JorgeLee (3122) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2017
Bottle, courtesy of Lakshmi on Fathers Day. Light gold colour, pale for an English IPA. Lightly bready malts, some spicy hop, yeasty bite, moderate bitterness that builds rather than bludgeons. Booze under wraps, quite dry finish. Not bad effort at a style I like, although for me could have taken a bit more sweet malt and more hop.

500ml bottle. Clear pale gold, finely bubbled with a thin and frothy white head. Slight wheat on the nose, along with a touch of aluminium and cider apples. Faint alcoholic hoppiness on the nose, with fading old wheat. Bready finish that lingers in the mouth.
