BlackHaddock (7518) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2017
Cask half-pint in The Royal Dick (Barney’s Tap Room) on 9th July 2017. As the name might suggest this has a red hue to it’s colour and tastes of Rye. Liked it actually.

Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 22, 2017
from Drinks of the World - pours a clear dark amber beer with a moderate foam left; aroma of toffee and flowery; moderate malt backbone, sweet; light grainy and long caramelish finish

gaudinosmotors (21) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 26, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2016 Pretty bland red ale but it was right on its BBE so perhaps not the greatest example. Overly floral on the nose and to taste. Not really got much else to say about it sorry.

Appearance: golden, clear, white foam, frothy, stays in small quantity. Aroma: roasty, bread, woody. Taste: medium sourness, medium bitterness. Palate: creamy, light body, soft carbonation, astringent, evident bitter aftertaste, lasts.

330ml bottle served in an ordinary glass. Pours a clear dark amber color forming a medium white head. Medium persistence. Nose is sweet and crispy. A bit fruity. Flowery hops. Slightly sweet upfront. Notes of rye and caramel. Not bad. Light hops bitterness. Light body. Medium carbonation. Medium drinkability.

Bottle, The Offie, Leicester. Murky brown with an off white rocky head. Toffee malts with woody yeast and mellow oranges. Peppery and dry with pithy yet sweet pink grapefruit. Earthe, herbal and not bad.

gegwilson (3759) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2015
Bottle from a Co-op in Keswick. Pours amber with an off white head. Mild aroma of grain with a touch of red fruit. The taste is quite fruity too with just a hint of strawberry and some light spice. A little grainy metal too. Very average.
