UPDATED: APR 14, 2019 Loved this, great example of the style. Poured out of bottle, plenty of yeast in the bottom. Reddish, slightly cloudy. Nose of cherries. Quite tart, a bit of yeastiness, a nice balanced mouthfeel, dry oaky finish. Well done. Left me craving more.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 330 ml bottle from International Beer Collector 6.9% ABV BB 2022 maybe? Cola coloured body, beige head. Sinister nose is a prelude to the madness that follows... Balsamic, old wood, earthy Chianti-like vinous notes, plums stewed, molasses, touch of ethyl acetate. Christ yeah she's sour! Starts quite full, sticky malt, but then Bam, acidity builds and grips, low carbonation. Serious intensity on the palate... Plum skin, aged balsamic, treacle and toast, barrel room funk, sour cola bottles, lots of vinous red fruits, some funky cheese and acetate notes linger... This is formidable, aggressive acidity, deeply complex, funky AF... Awesome

Bottle from Willems in Grobbendonk. Poors very dark brown, nice, red shine, no head. Aroma: sour with light lactic touch, distinct chocolate roasted malts, hints of vanilla and wood. Taste very sour, red fruits, tasty roasted malts. The sourness is distinct but lacks a bit of taste ( only lightly lactic and some red currant ) but the chocolate malts are decent. Nice, creamy, chocolaty lingering aftertaste.
