- black beer under a solid creamy beige foam; grainy with notes of mocha and vanilla; creamy palate; thin-bodied, earthy and grainy bitter finish; dry with notes of mocha and walnuts - not very exciting
Tapped out black. 40SRM.
Mouthfeel is watery. Palate has roasted malt and hint of charcoal bitter. There may be some hops but they they are noble and bitter. Hop flavors are sap and wood.
Finish is light and brief characterized by that woody bitter.
Overall, a very quaffable stout in the traditional style without any sticky cloying sensations....yes, it is "dry" Inbreak (6209) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 4, 2017

Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, burnt toast, minerals, grass, burnt grain, metal tank, paper, hay. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh burnt mouthfeel. Nice aroma...

Guinness lite. Looks good, but everything else is just watered-down guinness. Finish a bit burnter and bitterer, but it’s a very boring handle-turning cookie-cutter dry stout. Shit, I ordered a big one, and it’s not bad enough to not finish. That delays my supper a bit. The baaaastards!!!! 3.. 2.. 1.. Chug!
Tap. Pitch black color. Small size, brown head, stays. Roast, sweet, herbal and slightly rubbery hops in aroma. Sweet, roast, husky, ashy in taste. Fizzy (lots of tiny bubbles) carbonation. Roast and herbal rubbery hops in aftertaste. Medium body. Drinkable brew. anstei (2358) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAY 10, 2017
Tap at Erzbierschof Liebefeld. Pours black with a smooth foam. Aroma is coffee and not much else, some green pepper. Body is light and smooth, almost thin, but not completely falling off. Still can’t support the nose. Smooth carbonation. Dry palate with little roast flavours. Good and light stout! Hermod (8045) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 20, 2017
Tap @ Brewdog Helsinki.
Poured near black with a thin off white head.
Lots of cocoa here, very dry.
Chocolate, some oat and more cocoa. Light bodied. Kinda like the cocoa here though even though it is quite up front.
