JorgeLee (2665) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2019 Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Very deep brown with a reddish hue, white foam. Strong warming malty goodness with a hint of treacle and a robust bitter finish. Very nice.

Flag08 (397) - - JUN 7, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2019 Bottle, 330 ml. Deep dark brown with a decent off-white head. Strong sweet caramel, chestnut, a bit of sweet coffee and vanilla on the nose. Creamy and heavy palate, milk chocolate + coffee, good balance, very long pleasent aftertaste. Classic!

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2019 THE BEST WINTER ALE IN THE WORLD. It's a bloody great ale this. My go to cold days ale. I'd move to the Antarctic just to drink this day in day out.

minihame2 (1291) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2019 Clear, black colour, little tan lacing. Malty, bready aroma. Flavour is dark, malty, some roastiness, slight cherry taste. Medium body, low medium carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.

Fisler (1327) - Bamberg, GERMANY - APR 20, 2019

Lubiere (16721) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 11, 2019
UPDATED: APR 11, 2019 A dark reddish-brown ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vinous character, dark fruits and treacle, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light butterscotch, alcohol warmth, light licorice, very nice. Bottle from Fairprice, Changi Jewel, 6.90$S.

LittleShit (201) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2019 330ml bottle. Pours a dark brown, a slight bleed of light at the bottom of the glass. A 2-3 finger tanned colour head with fairly good head retention. Aroma is subtly sweet with red fruits, plum and molasses and a small hint of coffee. The body is slightly less well rounded than I expected for 8.5% abv but this means it is deceptively drinkable. So, a fairly complex well built beer that lacks a little body. Enjoyable! Interested to know if it would age well.

grumpydoug (44) - - MAR 6, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2019 Mmmmmm, dark molasses, bitter chocolate with a liquorice finish. Suitably malty for such a strong stout / porter. Bloody lovely

Guaro (106) - - MAR 6, 2019

tovesa (1883) - Pirkkala, FINLAND - FEB 22, 2019
