COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A picture perfect Belgian Tripel. A pale blond brew, lightly malty with a notable, hoppy bitter finish. Clean, bracing, and remarkably refreshing for an ale of weight and character. Why do they call this kind of beer Tripel? No one knows. Just enjoy.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2019 10-Nov-14 (750-ml bottle with copper foil: Purchased for $13.60 at O'Brien's in San Diego, CA)
This Tripel pours a hazy, orange body and over an inch of off-white head that fizzes to a thin ring. The nose is sweet and honey-like, with candi sugar, mild spices, and bready malt. On the palate, it's flavors of honey, sweet bread, clove, bubble gum, and malt that is lightly toasty, doughy, and a bit grainy. The beer is full bodied, medium in carbonation, and a bit cloying after awhile. Overall, this is an okay Tripel but not particularly complex or interesting.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2015 Artisanal tripel (mind the incorrect spelling ’trippel’ on the label) with rocky, dense, snow white head (captured after fierce gushing) and hazy peach blond colour. Complex and strong aroma, a basket of exotic fruits, melon, orange, kiwi, banana, strawberry, tomato, aniseed, coriander, freshly grated ginger, field flowers, cheese spread, eggnogg and lavender. Delicately sweet taste, sparkling with relatively strong carbonation, smoothly evolving into a powerful, long, sticky, oily and cheesy hop bitterness (dry-hopping) bringing the whole to sheer perfect balance. Used to be quite famed among the well-informed beer adepts and I agreed with them: this is / was an underestimated masterpiece. Too bad for the gushing, though, so not completely flawless.

"11 oz bottle. Murky golden brown. Aroma very very yeasty. Dirty yeasty :). A little dense and fruity/spicy. Not a standout in the style but enjoyable all the same."

Sampled from tap @ OBM 2013. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent time. Smell and taste malts, a touch of sweetness, some bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced, perfect carbonation, medium to full body. Very nice tripel.

Poco compresa/poco comprensibile, qui dicono a picture perfect Belgian Tripel, io direi "just a picture of a Belgian Tripel", nel senso platonico di mimesi.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized frothy head. Yeasty and slightly soapy malty aroma with shy notes of apricots, citrus and shades of flowery hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Dry-ish malty and yeasty spicy taste with a moderate fruit character; slightly spicy and hop bitter finish. Easy going Tripel. 10.I.11

Bottle. Hazy deep golden with a medium off white head. The aroma is sweet fruit, light spices and caramel. Lots of sweet fruit, caramel and spicy yeast in the flavour. Long warming caramelish finish.

TaxiDriver (1996) - Stadland, GERMANY - JUL 1, 2010
Bottle. The aroma of yeast, light fruity. The small white creamy head has a short duration, the body is pale orange. The taste is light bitter-metallic, fruity. The body is dry and creamy, light to medium strong with a rather lively carbonation.
