UPDATED: DEC 5, 2019 getrunken 2014 EIn MItbringsel von meinem Kumpel Bernhard von einer Studienreise. Man bekommt ein klassisches Witbier mit ordentlich Koriander und Hefe. Es mag aromatischere Witbiere geben, aber auch viele die mir nicht so viel Freude bereitet haben.

Deff not a witbier, much more a white IPA. Pours murky dark gold, thin non-lasting white head. Nose is slightly hoppy, mango, citrus. Medium bitterness.

Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Bottle, 33cL. 5.8%. Purchase ("Le Houblon", @Poitiers (86), FR). Home. A sparkling yellow clear beer with a medium white head, medium retention ; ok lacing. Fruits (citrus (lime?), tropical fruits, orange, blackcurrant), light resin, herb. Medium to SHARP refreshing bitter, sweet note, acid note. Light body, thin texture, average ok gaseous, fruity DRY lasting bitter finish. Overall, very good ! More a white IPA than a witbier I think.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a misty golden yellow, medium white head. Wit-like aromatics with breezy citrus. Taste is light, fresh, zippy Belgian wit yeast, floral, rounded nicely with crisp Citra hops, light bitterness. Good fresh wit.
