Aroma; hops, peaches, apricot, sweet weed, herbs, some caramel malt. Look; fawn low head, hazy amber body. Taste; strong bitter syrup of hops, citric peels, herbs and some malt, and finishes strong and semi dry. Feel; strong body, ok co2. Overall; heavy dipa. 500mL bottle, pours an opaque muddy diarrhea reddish brown with a tiny beige head - looks revolting. Aroma is almost all malts, with bready notes, light caramel, and sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is... how is this a double IPA? Notes of sherry-like oxidation, caramel, bready malts, brown sugar and medicinal, couch syrupy sweetness. Not sure how fresh this is, but the main Alko seemed content to sell it. Pretty atrocious stuff.

From bottle. Heavy bitterness and alco aftertaste. Without tap. Hazy cloudy. Yeast in bottom.

Aroma: caramel malts with sultana notes. Taste: dried fruit and caramel, faint roasty notes. Develops nicely to a fine finish - notes of herbs and resin. Pretty nice and different. Bit "sweet" DIPA to my liking, but a lovely beer nonetheless.

0,5l bottle from Alko. Pours dark amber with small white head. Resin, pine, grape, caramel. Full bodied. Great dipa!

humpah (1559) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 22, 2017
Tap at SOPP Jyväskylä. Pours dark brown color. Flavor of resin, malts, orange, citrus, hops. Heavy on malts and hops, quite good. Medium body and bitterness, resiny bitter aftertaste.

Aukedebier (72) - KAUTTUA, FINLAND - MAR 13, 2017
0,5L Bottle from local Alko liquor store. Pours nice deep golden, amber colored beer with slightly off white head. Nose; citric, herbal, malts and some yeast. Reminds me of the La chouffe Houblon. Taste; dried, dark fruits, citrus fruits in the hops. Well balanced with the sweetness of the malts. A bit of toffee. Very nice body and long lasting aftertaste. A price winning beer to me.

Villyzzz (483) - Espoo, FINLAND - FEB 21, 2017
Bottle at home. Pours dark golden with big off-white head. Aroma is citrus, malts and caramel. Taste has citrus, roasted malts and caramel. Quite low bitterness for an imperial IPA. Good otherwise.

jampura (195) - FINLAND - NOV 5, 2016
Makea, pihka, mäntysuopa, kitkerä greippisitrusjälkimaku. Komea vaahto ja runsas suutuntuma.
