COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2019 In the discount bin for expired beers. Mild fruity tones. Caramel. A bit grassy. Age has probably taken its toll but it’s still a nice smelling beer. Taste is bittersweet, mildly fruity, a hint of bubblegum, then a light grassy edge at the end that takes the finish in the direction of a pilsener. Medium body, balanced carbonation. Still a nice one.

superspak (9416) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - SEP 30, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2019 16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 7/19/2019. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, berries, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, berries, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, berries, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance; and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an outstanding hopy Czech Pils. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome Amarillo, Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe profile. Very vibrant, and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pils/Munich malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example as expected.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2019 Crystal clear light golden with a thin white head. Lovely grassy leafy hop nose with a hint of lemon peel. Crisp clean bright flavor that’s lightly grassy and a little bitter with nice continental noble hop tones used in a very lovely hoppy way. Very light citrus and grape whispers. Super clean and balanced and features a lovely hop profile.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2019 330 ml can. Unclear orange, foamy head. Herbal hops, some pine, lemon, tangerine, grassy notes, some hay and metal. Fruity hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry hoppy finish. Excellent Lager.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2019 Aromat intensywny, słodowo-ziołowy, dalej trochę grejpfrut i pomarańcze. W smaku zdecydowanie ziołowe, ale też cytrusy wyraźnie wyczuwalne, goryczka średnio-wysoka. Jeden z lepszych pilsów jakie piłem.
