Pint at Huggis in Kona. Ok drop but no bitterness. A hint of mango. Couldn't get the beer buzz from this. Nice enough. glennmastrange (2924) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2017
Bottle. Light to moderate roasted grain and caramel for the malt, light pine for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, and a hint of sulfur. Head is small, fizzy/frothy, white, with some slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, slick, with a lively to fizzy carbonation. Pretty darn good IPA from Kona. DrNosha (2719) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2017

Pours from bottle a golden /straw color with white head. Somewhat hazy. Nose is a bit muted but has floral/citrus. Taste is a basic IPA - citrus / grapefruit, with some hoppy finish. This is good - nothing fancy, but a solid, quintessential IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2017 The aroma is malty and very fruity, with notes of grass, citrus, tropical fruits and some hints of spices. The taste is light sweet with notes of tropical fruits and citrus, and ends refreshingly bitter with grass and spices. The finish is dry and bitter and above all very refreshing. dutchdarthvader (357) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2017
Bottle, 0.355l. Clear copper pour with little to no head. Slight lacing. Different then expected on the nose, good hoppiness, strong herbal character with some candy-like notes.
Thin to medium body, medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel, slightly fizzy palate. Refreshing. Bittersweet taste, not too aggressive, personally I’d prefer stronger hop bitterness. Aroma is quite pleasant, similar to nose it has strong herbal touch to it. Some caramel and toffee notes in the background. Fruity citrus hops paired with that candy presence. Drying mouthfeel, medium lasting finish, mildly bitter.
Overall, lightweight IPA. Smooth, refreshing and crisp. Personally, I’d prefer stronger hop presence but as it is it’s still quite decent thirst quencher. Good one.
