Welsh Red Ale
Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale - a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.

It isn’t your average bitter - the hops do more to this deep amber coloured beer than just provide bite. Any old hop can do that! We’ve selected some of the most aromatic and tangy hops from the other side of the pond to give this red a fresh hit that complements the caramel flavours of the malts that gives this beer its colour. Drinkability and balance makes this beer.

We love a good Cwtch, and we’re not the only ones…

Lovey red ale with a fantastic hop bite. One of the beers that earned Tiny Rebel its rep and rightly so. Still good today. Enjoyed in the garden looking down the valley, despite the slightly sub-zero temperature. 330ml bottle.

ruuurd (391) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 10, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 Nice ruby color. Tones of citrus and lots of hop. The subtle sweetness is well in balance with the bitterness

cage.79 (80) - Worcestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2018 330ml bottle. Copper red with plenty of floating bits, decent foamy white head. Lovely clean aroma of pine. Highly carbonated, melts on tongue. Subtle hoppy taste. Nice

Maersk (377) - MOLDOVA - FEB 4, 2018
Hazy, dark amber, small head. Hoppy aroma, citrusy, tropical. Bitter taste. Simple, but good. More of an ipa rather than amber ale

Kingi (684) - - FEB 4, 2018
Nice amber ale, I would have preferred a bit more malts and body to balance the hops, but now it's a nice light refreshing hoppy ale.

larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 3, 2018
Big offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Resiny tropical fruit aroma with wooden notes. Dryish resiny wine grape taste with citric notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish resiny wooden aftertaste with citric wine grape notes. Basically a US pale ale more than a bitter. It's OK, but not particularly interesting. (0.33l bottle, from ... not sure.)
