JK (7117) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - MAR 20, 2021UPDATED: MAR 20, 2021 Can from The Wine Thief. This beer has an almost opaque, gold color to it. the carbonation from the bottom of the glass and the thick, rocky head makes it look like a hefeweizen. Aroma of yeast and grain. flavor is interesting, with a lot of yeast and malt flavor, and a very light, almost sour flavor which I would attribulte to the lack of filtration and the prominent yeast from the aroma and flavor. While this is a great lager, it lacks the crisp hops common to many Czech pils and is in that way more like a German kellerbier. Very drinkable and enjoyable.
stevoj (11019) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 14, 2021UPDATED: MAR 14, 2021 16oz can from Brewers Haven. Bright golden, cloudy, lasting creamy head. Just beautiful. Sweet cereal aroma, fresh bread. Taste is more of the sweet, velvety malts, rich, creamy. Simple but luxurious. Just amazing. This brew deserves every point I gave it.

Aroma of bread, cooked apple, pear, and floral hops. A slight earthiness, too. Flavor is lightly astringent, unfortunately. There is some nice bready malt, biscuit, and pleasant fruity esters. Grassy, floral, and earthy hop profile. Was hoping for a bit more based on the ratings, but it's still a pretty nice beer.
