Bottle shared at the Martin T tasting, CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Lots of spicy, herbal hops, medium sweetness, floral hops, grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more flowery hop character, moderate sweetness, some earthy notes. So so overall.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2018 A small bottle from High Point Liquor store in east Vancouver. A hazy amber beer with white head and a faint herbal nose. Um, well..I'm supposed to be getting notes of oil of bergamot and guava, but alas my plebian taste buds aren't up to the task! What I'm getting is a rather insipid IPA. I see that other members are head over heels on it, so I'll give'er another try tomorrow. For now I give it 2.5

Alright then, a day has passed and we’re ready to give this another try in hopes of salvaging these suds from outright oblivion. Oh, sweet Jesus, it’s not working. What I’m getting here is a muddy, muddled mish-mash of insipid IPA beer. Sorry, fans, this is a drain pour for me.

341ml bottle from High Point. Pours a murky golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit citrusy with guava notes. Taste is dusty, grassy bitter, lots of guava. Too much of grass and guava.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2018 Bottle. Peachy golden & cloudy with lots of particles and sediment. Tea & tropical fruit, grapefruit (guava?). Tame hops.

2014 rating. Pours a large amount of frothy beige head and has a murky coppery brown appearance. Lacing is ok. Aromas of the earl grey tea are pretty much immediately apparent. Flavours are fairly hoppy but are well blended with the malts. Has that sort of aftertaste/mouthfeel from sipping tea, some notes of herbal and light floral hops. Pretty smooth mouthfeel.

Sadly, I’m aware this is an older bottle as I bought it in the summer & for some reason I’ve neglected it. Pity. It’s a fantastic beer. Pours tawny. Full of beer yeast dandruff & other goodness. Minimal foam. Beautiful hoppy ipa despite the age. Squeezed red grapefruit, pine cones, guava juice, medium steeped black tea & nice swirls of Bergamot. What a great beer: clean, edgy, tasty. Can only imagine this fresh. Hopefully the uppers from the caffeine pick me up.

MatChar (183) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 21, 2018
UPDATED: APR 4, 2018 Bottle (no date). Appearance: very nice cloudy darkish straw yellow, rather thick white foam quickly ending into thin to medium laces, low to medium carbonation. Smell: guava and earl gray definitely present, very subtle yeast esters (strangely) in background. Taste: tropical notes of guava, passion fruit and slight grapefruit, very subtle but nice earl gray tea aromas, medium bitterness but perhaps a bit over-bitter feel, low to medium sugar, enjoyable texture. Overall: Dunham's best hoppy beer, very unique use of guava, quite complex for style, not as awesome compared to its white wine barrel aged version, but way above average fruit and spiced India pale ale, a must try!

@PiBar - light hazy blond beer with a white foam left; aroma of agave and peaches; juicy palate, full-bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy palate, fairly bitter; long juicy fruity finish with more notes of agave, mango and persimmon - clean and very hoppy
