UPDATED: APR 7, 2022 Pours a dark, coffee-black with mid-sized head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is chocolate, burnt toast, roasted grain. Flavor largely follows. Smooth mouthfeel.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2022 Dark deep brown-black with a foamy light tan head. Roasty light cocoa aroma with dark malty depths. Smooth balanced and roasty, flavor features dark malts and a hint of bittersweet dark cocoa. Really basic and inside-the-lines but exemplary of the style.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2020 Sample at Bob’s Bar during the '18th Annual Extravaganza!!!' on 02/29/2020. Black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lace. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate, espresso and a bit of anise. The finish is burnt malt and coffee. Pretty good all around.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2019 Bomber bottle picked up at Beach Liquors Fort Walton. Enjoyed after a long weekend of home-improvement. Pours dark like a porter with a brown head that settles slowly. The aroma is rich dark malt with chocolate and a hint of hops. Great flavor with rich coffee and lingering espresso and hoppy bitterness. Very nice American Porter.
