UPDATED: JUL 4, 2019 Bomber bottle picked up at Beach Liquors Fort Walton. Enjoyed after a long weekend of home-improvement. Pours dark like a porter with a brown head that settles slowly. The aroma is rich dark malt with chocolate and a hint of hops. Great flavor with rich coffee and lingering espresso and hoppy bitterness. Very nice American Porter. ttutony (1150) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 15, 2019

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2019 Pure joy. Knee-buckling levels of goodness. Infinite depths of dark chocolate, molasses, black cherry, and mocha, with a touch of roast and date mixed with espresso and a healthy bitterness on the finish. Creamy, silky texture is to die for. The only pure porter I've ever come across that competes with Founders Porter. Holy shit, Maine Brewing. What can't you do? ChainGangGuy (5266) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 9, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2019 500ml bottle - $7.99 at Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a very dark brown, near black body. On top, a creamy-looking, sandy-tan foam cap.
Smell: A generous dosing of bittersweet chocolate stirred into cold cream with a blunted edge of roast and a supporting toastiness and cooked caramel. Minor waft of hops and a drifting vein of pipe smoke.
Taste: Creamy, chocolaty with a rich blend of caramel-brushed toastiness, mild roast and impression of coffee beans. While sweet, its sweetness shows restraint. As with the aroma, there's just a faint, faint hint of smoke dispersed throughout the flavor. Light tinge of hops, a glimmer of floral, pine and some balancing bitterness. More lightly bitterish chocolate morsels on the round, smooth finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Mouthfeel has a great satiny, nigh-chewy quality to it.
Overall: With the beer landscape littered with heavily adjunct laden offerings, leaving one to gaze upon the beer shelves with disinterest and disdain and a feeling of dread and unease, as if one fears there may be amateur porn of them on the web somewhere, somehow, it was an absolute TREAT to have something so well-executed. Oftentimes, a few sips in I regret having bought a beer. With King Titus, I was positively bummed I only bought the one, lone bottle. kassner (2451) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2019

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2018 500 ml bottle from notes. Pours dark brown to near black in color with a medium sized khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, earthy and resiny hops, a nice balance of malts and hops, very good. commonmac (1690) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2018
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2018 Bottle picked up by blonderedhead while on a work trip to NYC. Consumed in a snifter style glass. Pleasant chocolate notes with some complementary hoppy characteristics. Deep black color with aggressive tan head. Taste has a greater hop presence than anticipated. Dark chocolate serves as the undercurrent bringing with it some semi sweet bitterness. Roasted malt finish. Reminds me of a black IPA. An excellent take on a porter.
