Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Very dark brown colour with big creamy golden head. Aroma is roasty, bit of chocolate, not much hops, maybe slight floral element. Taste is nice, very creamy, dark fruit, bit of roast, more chocolate. Slight sour cream taste which is very nice. Not much bitterness. Quite full bodied and creamy. Pretty nice.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - pretty dark beer under a long lasting beige foam; nice lacework; pretty hoppy with notes of licorice, fresh mint and black cherries; slightly piney; quite full-bodied and with a fair earthy bitterness; dry and hoppy earthy finish with notes of tar and licorice - well-done

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris, bb 31 July 2014
Black color with creamy off white head. Mild aroma of roasted malts and some cardboard, very light coffee. Correct body strength, the mouthfeel is rather dry; quite strong flavor of roasted malts, with light chocolate, very light liquorice; good bitterness level; in the final there is a pleasant cheesy trace from the yeast; balanced final.
Good, but missing some better hop presence.
