Roasted malts dominate this one with some notes of coffee, ash, and cocoa. A slight earthy hop aroma, too. Flavor is mildly sweet with a bit of molasses. Finish is fairly bitter with a strong roast and coffee note. Just a bit of bitter dark chocolate and vanilla. Maybe a little bit ashy and acidic.
Capa (4059) - JAPAN - JUN 30, 2016Dark with a creamy tan head. Easy roasted notes, some bitterness, chocolate malt. Smooth and creamy body. A good warm weather stout.
patricks110 (2897) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 5, 2015Very sweet and overly dry with totally milk chocolate malt. Pours completely dark and opaque with a thin tan head. The first sip is too sweet and malty with milk chocolate, light cofffee ground and dry, robust malt. The finish is dry and mildly astringent.

The aromas are bittersweet chocolates, medium roasted malts. The flavors are a little tame in intensity. Bittersweet chocolate, medium roast malts. The mouth is medium bodied. Not too bad of a brew.
