UPDATED: AUG 10, 2021 On tap @ Maui Waikiki. Deep, dark, black beer with a creamy tan head. Roasted malts dominate this one with some notes of coffee, ash, and cocoa. A slight earthy hop aroma, too. Flavor is mildly sweet with a bit of molasses. Finish is fairly bitter with a strong roast and coffee note. Just a bit of bitter dark chocolate and vanilla. Maybe a little bit ashy and acidic.

Dark with a creamy tan head. Easy roasted notes, some bitterness, chocolate malt. Smooth and creamy body. A good warm weather stout.

Very sweet and overly dry with totally milk chocolate malt. Pours completely dark and opaque with a thin tan head. The first sip is too sweet and malty with milk chocolate, light cofffee ground and dry, robust malt. The finish is dry and mildly astringent.

4 oz. draft at the brewery. Very prototypical stout, only 4.5% ABV per the blackboard at the brewery. Nothing particularly interesting about it, but clean and balanced.

Roasted malt aroma... Kind of your standard stout, nothing special... Rich in malts, but nothing significant, had better...

On tap at urge in Poway. Nose is super smoky and roast burnt malt. Bananas and dirt with light sour and coffee. Not great.

Draft. Dark brown hue. Nose is roast, licorice, cocoa. Flavor is roast, Milk chocolate, coffee, cream, finishes dry. Velvet smooth texture, very creamy and pleasant. A very flavorful stout with wonderful texture and drinkability.

Served on tap at Maui Brewing Brewpub. The appearance is a deep cola brown with some nice creamy tan head. The aromas are bittersweet chocolates, medium roasted malts. The flavors are a little tame in intensity. Bittersweet chocolate, medium roast malts. The mouth is medium bodied. Not too bad of a brew.

Dark brown pour with tan head and lace. Toasted malt and coffee on the aroma. Large coffee, roasted malt, and a good malt bitter. Thin and watery with good carbonation. Nice beer.

On tap. Dark brown off white creamy head. Roast chocolate aroma. Very smooth dark roast chocolate coffee vanilla flavor. Medium body
