UPDATED: JAN 27, 2019 A dark wheat bear that puts the wheat at the forefront and lets the mild roast aromas take a backseat, but yet offer a wonderful punch. Great beer. D&S Dresden MeadChamp21 (118) - - DEC 20, 2018

GBBF Day 2. Bottle. Thanks to Harrisoni. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Soft and mildly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth semi dry malts, a little tangy cream. Tangy dark fruits and mild esters. Sweeter dark fruits on the finish. Little bubblegum esters. Not bad, certainly flavoursome.

Tap. Surprisingly dark slightly unclear brown color with ruby highlights. Aroma is chocolate, straw, wheat, milky. Taste is milkshake, chocolate, malty, tart. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite boring, the flavour is quite meaningless. It's still ok! Johnstledger8 (1753) - Dublin, IRELAND - NOV 18, 2017
