Bottle, I picked this one up in the US a number of years ago and have been “waiting” for the right time to open it, but I recently came across an extra bottle so figured I better open one up to see how father time has been to this beer. Dark amber orange with light white head. Lots of fruit and bread/cracker like oxidation in the aroma, with hints of oak and some slight sourness. Taste is a bit sour/vinous up front, followed by hints of oak, ripe fruit, and wine like undertones. Thick mouthfeel. This seems to be holding up really well, and is a wonderful sipper that fits in well with a cold fall evening.

beerplace (5320) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2018
750ml bottle at Kump’s during the Pink session. Pours a dark golden with a white head. Aroma is oxidized dark cherries. Similar taste with pastry and bready notes. This one is pretty carbonated for a such old beer. Quite pleasant, despite it is quite old.

brnandersen (6112) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2018
Sample from 75 cl bottle. Hazy, amber golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with oxidation in the nose, blue cheese, ripe fruits, alcohol dense notes, wooden notes, vanilla, acidic notes. Taste is light sour. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Lasting tart fruity finish over ripe fruits and red wine barrel. Excellent.

[email protected] - Dark orange pour with white hesd. Sweet fruity and malty with some dark dried fruit, some sweet caramel, some fudge and treacle, certainly a touch of oxidisation setting in but still holds up well, medium body, dried fruity and sweet malty into the close, very nice.
