RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2005
Bottle. Dark beer with a brown light bubbly head. The aroma is fruity, spiced and slightly vinous, the beer has a mulled nature to it. The flavour is mainly sour with a long dry finish. Overall a disappointing beer.

leaparsons (10607) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2005
Bottle. Black with a small cream head. Aromas are earthy roast malts with sour berries and hints of chocolate. Prickly on the nose and quite light. Flavours are roast malts with bitter coffee and some chocolate. Has an Ovaltine and oat type maltiness. Dry on the finish. Decent, if a bit thin.

imdownthepub (14753) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2005
Cask Conditioned at The Gamecock, Harbury, Warks. Black bronze beer with healthy head. Overwhelming cardboard note at first sip with hard roasted malts. A little caramel and a dry hop on the finish. A touch of acidity, but mostly moist card.

kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2005
Bottle: Pours hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Slightly oaky aroma, but mostly mild caramel with a touch of roast. Sweetish start with a mildly fruity mid and finish. Some acidic notes in aftertaste, almost a little tart. Medium bodied, interesting.

Hansk (12) - Fakse Ladeplads, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2005
Nice. Real Nice. I would like some more body and bitterness. But a real nice beer.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2005 Bottle 750ml.Very dark brown in colour, small head, wood, coffee, chocolate, many unknown others, the range of flavours made me frown often.A strange ale indeed.De smeggin licious.

SilkTork (5753) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2004
Dec, 2002: Bottle Conditioned, There are four different malts and three different hops used in this dark and complex little brew. Deep, creamy, darkly fruity with a roller-coaster ride of assorted flavours. Star! O bright, brilliant star!

Sigmund (7648) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2004
Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. Black (= very dark brown) colour. Interesting and unusual aroma: Ensilage, fresh mown grass, candy ("Kongen av Danmark"), hints of old ladies with a questionable personal hygiene. (Bordering on vomit, according to chris_o, but I liked it.) Flavour is grassy, citrussy, green apples. Easy drinking. Fruity finish.

Ungstrup (37876) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2004
A clear brown beer with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel as well as roasted malt. The flavor contains notes of roasted malt and chocolate on a sour background before a very dry end sets in.

Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2004
Black color, light sweet roasted malty aroma and taste, light body, light dry finish.
