Lightly hazed amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, hoppy, some honey, light earthy. Taste is medium sweet, hoppy (orange, some earthy), grapefruit. Medium sweet. Definitely English, not American, style.

Thanks Lubiere and Capflu. Clear copper orange with an off white head. Fruity aroma, with some cooked corn notes. Decent hop character, with a nice malty character. Ok

Via trade with Lubiere and Capflu. Clear copper orange with an off white head. Aroma is fruity, with a cooked corn/vegetable note. Flavor has a decent hop component and a nice malt backbone, with cooked corn again. I guess some people look for that sort of flavor, for it seems intentional, but is not quite my thing.

Pours light amber and cloudy. Small white head. Grassy caramel nose. Earthy and wood. Mild pepper and tangerine. Vanilla. Trace of maple sugar. Acidy sour milk in the finish.

muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - APR 5, 2004
341 ml bottle. Dark amber, smallish lasting head, quite bubbly in the body. Pretty decent caramel nose with hints of dates and grass. Fair amount of caramel in the body, piney and slightly smoky hoppiness, rather dry to finish. Solid if nothing exciting.

Nice amber coloured ale. Good head. Bitter aftertaste sneaks up on you. More hoppy bitterness than I expected in an Amber ale. A good pint.

Had it on draught at a charity function in Ottawa. Tasted infected with lacto-bacillus. Smelled like cheese. This beer was served to us by the owners!Shame.

Amber, as you could have guessed. Coarse bubbles form a quick falling head. Nice fruity aroma and fresh hops. The first attack is of caramely malt, then come the hops. Nice bitter but smooth finish.

Lambent peppery hops in deprived caramel...Spicy oranges in bubbly cereal...A gateway to the good beer world...
