On tap at Express de Lyon Paris. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Lemon aroma. Spicy orange in the mouth. Not too soapy. Some bitterness. Pretty competent wit bier with good spicy orange finish. Good.

Robe or pâle, mousse peu persistante. Blanche basique.

Bottle - citrus, spices aroma. Pale yellow, very small white head - medium carbonation. Ting on tongue and in mouth. Bit watery tasting - not great depth. Nothing special, bit too gassy overall.

3fourths (9473) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2014 750ml bottle from Racine’s in Cassel. *Not* witbier in the traditional sense (spices and citrus). it’s Blanche, a Belgian-ish wheat beer made with a portion of corn. Acidic nose of grain husk, saw dust, brined lemon / orange and odd medicinal / chemical off-notes. Soda water effervescence, medium-light body, semi-sweet with a raw grain character. Wheat gives it minimal lushness, while contributing a simple sweet porridge flavor. Medium-low bitterness with relatively high acidity. Has minor flaws but mostly seems directionless.
