Piepenhenrich (1230) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2017
Very good Hefeweizen, with rich fruity notes, including the typical banana. Despite its rather cheapish looking label, this is one of the better of its kind.

olio (10552) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2017
Tap @ Burger House, Munich.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Grassy aroma with subtle wheat. Grassy flavor too, citrus, faint yeast. Not good.

laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 17, 2017
Draught @ Burger House, Münich. Aroma has ripe bananas and mild yeasty notes. Flavour has ripe bananas, some floury tones and mild orange notes. Easy-going weisse.

Maracuja05 (1776) - Mainz, GERMANY - JUL 17, 2017
25-06-17 // 500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange beer, great white head. Nose of yeasty fruit. Taste is creamy banana, thick bodied, some clove, high carbo. Great.

aleigator (945) - GERMANY - MAY 29, 2017
Pours a clouded pale yellow color with a small, yet stable head. Smells of anise, peppers and lots of wet leafes, together with a hint of ripe, spicy banana. Drinks very smooth and soft, with a bright effervescent peak right after the swallow, showcasing a refreshing, light bodied and well balanced Weisse. Tastes of slowly evolving, yeast embraced, caramel malts, which get enhanced by the well nuanced spices and soothed by an aqueous softness. The hops from the nose are non-existent on the palate, getting replaced by a short effervescent peak, amping up the refreshment level in this. Finishes soft, a bit watery and one dimensional, but with a late banana ripeness and toasted peppers. Nice interpretation of a Weisse. Truly refreshing, vivid on the tongue and nicely balanced. If only it could provide a faint hop presence to add a little complexity.

gripweed57 (2868) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 9, 2017
From old tasting notes. Hazy copper gold color. Large bubbly white head. Crisp aromatic wheat nose. Tangy wheat flavor is more sour than most. A real lip smacker.

TEJA (3262) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 10, 2017
Sampled at the Brauereigasthof zum Kuchlbauer, Abendsberg. Lasting white head. Clowdy yellow color. Mild banana aroma. Fine wheat maltiness. Dry finish.

Cerbier (849) - - APR 4, 2017
0,5l Flasche. Hellgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Aroma leicht nach Banane. Für ein Weizen zu wässrig.

ischas (813) - - JAN 15, 2017
0,5 l Flasche.

Blueshawk (464) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - SEP 8, 2016
