On tap at AleSmith, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt upfront, followed by bone dry cocoa. Roast and some caramel. Good mix and easy drinking, as could be expected. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. The kind of Robust Porter I like. Tap at Fatheads in Pittsburgh.

Nose - massive blackberry and molasses.
Taste - more of the same. Molasses, blackberry and leading into liquorice.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish.
Overall - lovely beer.
